Hello my readers,

I did something stupid today.. (like every other day)

Aining introduced her new colleague, Debbie, to me today..
She was a rather quiet person cos I think it was her first day at work.. So she appeared a little shy or sth.. I dunno..

Anyway.. We went to 'Shop and Save' after lunch to shen shen shen.. !!

Decided on a can of green tea of 75cents and headed for the cashier first, while Aining and Debbie continued to look around..

At the cashier, I was digging for that 75cents. And from the corner of my eyes, I saw Debbie came to join me quietly at the queue with another can of drink …

So after my payment, I reached over the counter, took 2 straws and thoughtlessly handed her 1 straw without looking up while I keep my change… I did a little push to hint her to faster take the straw cause I no hands to keep my change..

I saw her hands hesitated as it reached out to me. And her hands accepted the straw from me in a state of confusion and reluctance. Like I've done something unnatural.
So when she finally took the straw from my hands,
I raised my head to meet her gaze, wanting to ask her “ Why? You don’t want straw ah??”

Only to see this girl holding that straw, and giving me the why-are-you-giving-me-straw look...

And I froze..

She is NOT Debbie !!!!!!
SHE IS SOME RANDOM STRANGER IN THE QUEUE BUYING A CAN OF DRINK !!!

I instantly exclaimed a very LOUD , “ EH ??? " followed by a, "I THOUGHT YOU....??? "
And went "HAHAHAHA!!!" very loudy AT HER FACE while she shoot a puzzled look at me.

After I realized my loud laugh, which probably scared her, I was horrified to also realize the fact that I was laughing madly to a stranger!!
I was so blardy embarrassed that I walked away immediately without explaining anything further to the stranger. STILL laughing to myself, I search frantically for Aining and the REAL Debbie..

When I found them, I was laughing so hard till I can't even tell the incident to Aining or Debbie.. So I just pointed to Debbie and pointed outside and continued laughing..

WAH LAO!! Damn paiseh la.. The innocent stranger must be thinking I’m some crazy and over-helpful woman shopping in shop and save…
